Humanium is offering a second chance to young people from the Indian village of Eappakkam who have failed at school.
Failing at school is particularly serious for young people from Indian villages. Without a certificate to say they have finished school or have qualifications, young people face great difficulties. Young girls are especially vulnerable.
A special class has been launched to offer young people who have failed at school a second chance. Motivation and good quality supervision are fundamental in helping them to succeed.
Although they have lost their self-confidence, these young people are starting to find hope again.
